Spyderco Police-Plain blade-Purple Mammoth Tusk Fusion and Mother of Pearl

In the early 1980's Sal Glesser, the owner of Spyderco Knives and Accessories out of Golden Colorado, contacted us about customizing his knives. We developed the fan design, to accentuate the chandle shape. Customers may send their knives for custom handle work as well. Featured with Purple dyed Wooly Mammoth Fusion with Mother of Pearl.

Raffir Mammoth Fusion is made of real mammoth tusk fragments dating back to the last ice age (10,000-40,000 BP). We have developed a unique high-pressure treatment to stabilize and fuse these fragments into solid blocks. The result is a beautiful and hard composite that is densely packed with mammoth ivory.
