Fossilized Woolly Mammoth Bone

The material in these knives is fossilized Woolly Mammoth Bone, from Siberia, and over 10-15,000 years old. Woolly Mammoth Bones were used as construction material for dwellings by both Neanderthals and modern Humans during the ice age. Bones were made into various tools, furniture and musical instruments. Large Bones, such as shoulder bones, were also used to cover dead human bodies when buried.

Kershaw Leek

The Kershaw Leek just may be the ideal EDC (everyday carry). With its 3-inch blade, the Leek is a good-sized knife, but not too big. The slim design makes it easy to carry and its razor-sharp blade of high-performance Sandvik 14C28N means it can take care of a full range of cutting tasks.

We offer the Kershaw Leek in three different blade styles, the classic Plain blade, the serrated back Combo, and the amazing Composite blade.

The first thing you’ll notice about the Composite Blade Leek is…well, the Composite Blade. The wavy copper line you see running through the blade is the brazing that permanently joins the razor-sharp, durable D2 cutting edge to the Sandvik 14C28N spine. The combination of these two steels enables us to give you a blade that not only looks cool, but also provides the best of two steel worlds.

On the edge is a high-carbon, high-chromium D2 steel capable of taking and holding an incredible edge. On the spine is high-performance Sandvik 14C28N. With a Composite Blade, each type of steel is allowed to do what it does best. The Composite Blade Leek shares its 3-inch blade, slim, easy-to-carry design, and versatility with other Leeks.

Please note: This knife is equipped with a clip on one side. Not Available Double Sided due To Locking Mechanism on Back.
