Damascus Steel

Damascus Steel is characterized by it's strength, edge holding ability, and it's dramatic appearance. The Damascus Steel used in our knives comes from Japan and is called "Sanmai Damascus" or Sandwich Damascus. There is a core of vg-10 steel with 16 layers of stainless steel on each side to produce a rust free Damascus look blade. These 3" closed lockback knives have a 2 1/4" blade and are the most affordable Damascus knives we offer.

Spalted Beech Collection

The Spalted Beech used in our collection is from Denmark and has been responsibly harvested, and has been collected over the past 10 years. The process of drying, priming and stabilizing is done to the highest standards.

Our supplier Raffir is one of the most respected exotic material suppliers, and the Spalted Beech Collection is the beginning of Santa Fe Stoneworks exotic wood series - there will be many more to come!
