The El Rey is the crown jewel of Santa Fe Stoneworks’ modern knife collection. Bold, sleek, and built for a lifetime of use, it fuses cutting-edge performance with luxurious design.
At its core is a 3" blade forged from Damasteel Bi-Frost, a premium stainless Damascus steel made in Sweden. Its elegant wave-like pattern—reminiscent of flowing ice—offers exceptional edge retention and stunning aesthetics.
The blade glides open on ceramic bearings, locking in place with a precision button lock for seamless one-handed operation. The solid titanium frame and matching titanium pocket clip provide strength, light weight, and a clean modern silhouette.
This version features both sides of the handle inlaid with Carmel Fossilized Mammoth Tusk—a rare material sourced from the remains of ancient woolly mammoths that walked the Earth over 10,000 years ago. Buried in the permafrost of Siberia, Alaska, and the Yukon, these tusks absorb minerals from the surrounding earth over millennia, giving them their warm, caramel hue and delicate internal grain. Each piece of fossil ivory is stabilized and finished by hand, creating a handle that is as durable as it is breathtaking.
Crafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico, each knife is finished by our in-house artisans with the same dedication and precision that has defined Santa Fe Stoneworks for over 45 years.
Whether you're building your collection or elevating your everyday carry, the El Rey in Carmel Mammoth Tusk is a fusion of ancient history, modern technology, and timeless craftsmanship.
