In the early 1980's Sal Glesser, the owner of Spyderco Knives and Accessories out of Golden Colorado, contacted us about customizing his knives. We developed the SpyderWeb design, as well as a fan design, that enhances the shape of the knife specially for them. This model features Fordite, aka Detroit agate or Motor Agate, is pre-1985 automobile paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. It was formed by the now extinct practice of hand spray-painting multiples of production car bodies in large automotive factories. With a Carbon Fiber and White G-10 Webbing.
