Dinosaur Jewelry
Bone is a common knife-handle material. This is the oldest bone available. The gemstone in these handles is petrified bone from a sauropod that lived over 150 million years ago, recovered near Moab, Utah.
Colors vary dramatically, from red to brown, black, white, and yellow, depending on the minerals surrounding the bone as it became petrified. The webbed, mosaic-like pattern is the bone's original cellular structure, filled in by mineral-rich groundwater. Special packaging comes with this limited edition series.
